Smartphone manufacturer HTC unveiled two new Android based phones, along with an updated version of its own user interface, the HTC Sense, a new online service for HTCSense.com called to let users manage their phones from your PC.
two phones is HTCs 4.3-inch display, a powerful 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and the Desire, with a full QWERTY keyboard, slide and slightly less powerful chip Qualcomm. Both run Android 2.2 version Froyo operating system.
Desire HD also has a 8 megapixel camera which can record 720p HD video, and dual-LED flash. It supports Dolby Mobile with SRS Virtual Surround Sound.
From Desire is said to resemble only available to T-Mobile G2 Android smartphone. Works operates Qualcomm 800MHz processor. Its 5-megapixel camera also records 720p HD video. One big difference is the QWERTY keyboard, flip-out. The keyboard was designed for people with long fingernails and thumbs thick, according to UK tech news stories Web site Electricpig, who was present at the announcement. Pricing has not been announced.
Both phones can connect to the HTCSense.com, where users can find a lost or stolen phone, ring tone, and remotely lock. Through the Web site, users can add pictures, sounds and plug-ins to your phone.
updated HTC Sense UI, which sits on top of Android, includes a battery of new features, including a uniform in the set. Maps can be pre-cached, reducing the waiting time for loading and zooming. The second one is HTCs Fast Boot, which shortens the time needed to implement your power-up sequence for 10 seconds or less than about 45 seconds, according to reports.
Mobile will be available in Europe and Asia starting next month. From Desire will be released in North America later this year says HTC.
