Experience the New HTC Evo

The HTC Evo is almost here and is everything you have ever wanted. This is the first 4G and WiMax phone Sprint has released. It is completely updated with the much loved hardware of the Touch HD2, the same Android smoothness as the Legend, and prodigious download speeds. The Evo has the 1GHz snap processor and the wonderful 4.3 inch screen as the HTC Touch HD2, but the Evo stepped its game up by using the newer, polished Android 2.1 OS. The Touch HD2 would have been considered the “perfect” phone, but it ran on the outdated WinMo 6.5 OS, leaving the HTC Evo to be known to consumers as the “perfect” phone to own.

The camera has also been updated from a 5MP to an 8MP for the photo savvy users. As an added extra, the phone also contains a 1.3MP front-facing camera that is capable of recording videos in HD. On top of all of that, the EVO has 1GB of storage built in, along with 512MB of RAM. The HTC Evo is also designed to be more than a phone, but an internet “hotspot” for up to 8 devices. The body of the phone is very similar to the body of the Touch HD2, with some slightly better modifications. The Evo is slim, yet still feels comfortable in the hand of the user. This remarkable phone also lets you simultaneously view all of your home screens at once. There is also a back tab, which let’s you stand the phone up much like a picture frame, or a tablet.
